IT Integration Senior Solution Designer (f/m)

Are you an experienced IT Integration Solution Designer ready to transform the integration domain at T-Mobile CZ and Slovak Telekom? We are looking for a visionary leader who will design and drive our comprehensive IT Integration transformation strategy and respective tools, with a significant contribution of AI tools and automation. This key role will redefine our integration landscape, replacing legacy platforms with a new architecture based on the TM Forum ODA (Open Digital Architecture) and Open API concepts to directly improve service delivery, resilience, and flexibility.

About the Role:

The IT Integration Senior Solution Designer position is key to our organizations’ strategic IT Integration Transformation. You will lead the solution design across key integration domains, defining modern integration and orchestration patterns to ensure seamless connectivity. Your expertise will be crucial in strategically replacing existing legacy systems, specifically driving the IT Integration transformation from our legacy TIBCO platform (covering Enterprise Integration Services and Service Order Management) to a modern, Java-based framework (e.g., Apache Camel) using cutting-edge AI tools for automated code conversion and testing. You will establish a modern, API-driven, and cloud-native IT Integration architecture, significantly enhancing business agility, accelerating time-to-market, and optimizing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute strategic roadmaps for our IT Integration Transformation, specifically focusing on the replacement of legacy IT Integration platforms and the deployment of AI-driven transformation tools.
• Lead the design and implementation of a new IT integration layer fully compliant with TM Forum Open APIs and Open Digital Architecture (ODA) principles across our IT ecosystem.
• Define and implement integration and orchestration patterns (TIBCO, API Gateway, service mesh, event streaming, etc.) to ensure scalability, resilience, and decoupled system communication across all IT domains.
• Design and develop modern cloud-native solutions for all core IT domains, utilizing microservices, containerization, and event-driven architectures as the foundation for this new IT Integration.
• Mentor technical teams and establish best practices to build organizational capability in advanced integration architecture, modern Java frameworks, and AI-assisted development tools.
• Collaborate closely with DevSecOps teams to design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies supporting continuous delivery of integration components.
• Ensure architectural alignment between design, development, and operations through API-first and cloud-native design practices, maximizing automation throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in enterprise architecture/solution design, with 3+ years specifically focused on IT Integration environments.
• Deep expertise and proven experience in IT integration and orchestration patterns (e.g. TIBCO, API Gateway, service mesh, event streaming, etc.).
• Proven hands-on experience with TM Forum Open APIs and Open Digital Architecture (ODA) implementation, ensuring the new IT integration layer is fully compliant with ODA principles.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing modern cloud-native solutions for core IT domains, utilizing microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven architectures as the foundation for next-generation integration.
• Demonstrated experience executing IT integration transformations from legacy TIBCO platforms (BW5, BW6, BWCE, FOM/FOS) to a Java-based framework (e.g., Apache Camel, Spring Boot) using AI tools and LLMs for automated code conversion, migration, and testing.
• Practical understanding of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD tools, pipelines, and AI-driven automated testing frameworks for integration workflows.
• Proven experience in developing integration applications leveraging microservices architecture, cloud-native technologies, and hybrid integration architecture.
• Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, analytical, documentation, communication, and presentation skills for driving large-scale change. Ability to influence technical and business stakeholders, mentor teams, and champion AI-driven development.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential. The role involves regular communication with various DTAG Natcos, vendors and interaction with the management board.
• Previous experience in a telecom environment and basic understanding of the Fulfilment, Provisioning, or Service Order Management (SOM).
