For our international team, we are looking for a Governance/Compliance Mobile Network Specialist with strong technical knowledge. The role will support security assessment processes and the governance of Telekom projects involving Mobile Network Security, as well as contribute to Standards Development Organizations (in particular 3GPP, GSMA, O-RAN Alliance), including participation in standardization meetings. The position is based in Prague, and the Specialist will be responsible for providing technical security support for international mobile network projects within the Deutsche Telekom Group.
We are looking for a candidate who feels confident in mobile network technologies (LTE, 5G, Network Functions Virtualization, etc.) and has a general understanding of governance and security best practices. The role also requires providing technical security support for international engineering and for projects related to mobile networks and associated technologies. Regular tasks will include defining and reviewing security best practices for mobile technologies.
We are looking for someone who will not hesitate to research and explore how new technologies can be connected and utilized to our benefit. A proactive mindset, problem-solving skills, and a focus on getting things done together with the team are essential to our team culture.
Responsibilities
- Project reviews and advisory from a Security perspective
- Specification and design of security concepts and architecture
- Development of internal security requirements for the Mobile Network
- Development and governance of security tests, including test results evaluation and findings
Job Requirements
Hard Skills
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
- Be able to work independently
- Essential to have technical knowledge of Ethernet, IP, LTE, 5G, NFV, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of architectures & platform technologies of mobile networks
- Network security, including corresponding analytical tools
- Experience with risk and vulnerability management analysis
