What You’ll Do
As a BI/DWH Consultant at DataSentics, you'll be the bridge between raw data and strategic decision-making. Together with you, we want to utilize generative AI models to accelerate migrations of old-school DWHs like SAP BW, Oracle or Teradata into modern cloud-first data platforms like Databricks or BigQuery.
You’ll analyze and migrate data at scale, design data models, transform and optimize data for reporting and self-service analytics, and collaborate on building intuitive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Our Projects & Technology Stack
- We work on real-world challenges across diverse industries like banking, insurance, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and e-commerce, using a wide range of customer data sources, including SAP ERP data, traditional warehouses, application data as well as IoT sensors, and marketing and web analytics.
- Tools/tech we use: Databricks, Python, Power BI, DBT, SQL. We deploy on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- How we work: Small, focused teams (2-5 people), agile workflows, and strong collaboration between engineers, analysts, scientists, and PMs.
- Remote-first culture: Work where you're the most productive, at home, in the office, or a mix of both. We're remote-first, with optional office spaces in Prague (near Muzeum metro) and Brno (ImpactHub) available whenever you need them.
- Flexible working: Part-time roles available starting at 30 hours/week.
What We’re Looking For
- Proficiency in SQL.
- Experience with preparing data for business intelligence or complex analytics.
- Data modeling expertise.
- Experience with at least one modern BI tool, such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Basic Python skills.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is considered an advantage.
- Experience with Google BigQuery is an advantage.
- Previous hands-on experience working SAP/SAP S/4 HANA or SAP BW data is an advantage.
- Interest in optimizing data for data pipelines with large datasets.
- A collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from and contribute to a skilled team.
