Allwyn is looking for an ICT Service Desk Specialist who will be responsible for administering, installing, and maintaining the operational efficiency of hardware, software, and telco at Allwyn HQ offices. This role involves handling the resolution of technical issues and providing assistance and support to end users for the accurate use of corporate applications and systems.
The role encompasses the following key activities and responsibilities:
- Monitors the operation and performance of IT infrastructure, application and systems, including telco and data, across all HQs office locations and responds to service failures enabling their smooth functioning and availability
- Supports internal users of ICT services, administrating of their hardware / software and provides clarification, training and technical support to end users
- Handles the installation, configuration and maintenance of HW and SW components of the HQ offices, and proceeds to the analysis and solution of error states of installed ICT equipment according to agreed design and IT security processes
- Analyse and handles the resolution of technical issues of the installed IT equipment and software, applying agreed processes and procedures
- Applies L1, L2 or L3 support depending on the system or issue and escalates appropriately the incidents or problems to 3rd parties, assisting their investigation and aiming to reduce incident duration
- Keeps records and documentation of incident reports with detailed problem information and resolution steps taken, to help establish a better course of action for future incident prevention
- Monitors their resolution, and provides technical clarifications and status updates to key stakeholders
- Communicates with external IT vendors, providing clarifications and support for the delivery of agreed services
- Participates in the delivery of IT projects, in the area of selection and implementation of new ICT services, or direct responsibility for any of the stages of IT service delivery
- Collaborates with a wider team of Service Desk specialists and a higher level of IT support L2.
- Creates documentation and procedures of installation and ICT administration, according to technical specifications and system characteristics
- Work on other tasks within the agreed scope of work based on Supervisor’s instructions.
What do you need to succeed?
- Ideally BSc in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 1+ year of proven experience IT Operations or Technical Support in a corporate environment
- Basic knowledge of Network & Systems Infrastructure
- Help-desk exposure in the provision within a corporate environment
- Strong customer service culture
- Effective communication and good team player
- Excellent organizational prioritization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Czech and English
