Who we are looking for
Are you a highly motivated expert with a passion for transforming insights into action? We're looking for a Digital and Data Analyst! In this role, you'll delve into user behavior on our web and app platforms, using tools like Amplitude and Tableau, as well as our internal data lake, to uncover valuable business insights. Your analysis will drive improvements in user experience and boost our e-commerce success. What you will be responsible for
Web Analytics
- Utilize digital analytics tools such as Amplitude to track and analyze website and app performance. Understand user behavior, how to identify and interpret it
- Uncover areas for optimization and growth and highlight key insights and recommendations
- Maintain and configure the digital analytics tools setup for our platforms
- Monitor data quality and consistency. Collaborate with the Decathlon International Digital Analytics team to ensure accurate tracking and data collection
Data Analytics
- Query and manipulate data from our datalake using SQL
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards in BI Tools (Tableau, Looker, Amplitude) to visualize key insights and trends
- Conduct in-depth analysis of large datasets to identify opportunities for optimization and growth and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Contribute to raising data literacy in the company
- Use strong communication and data storytelling skills to explain the complex in a simple way
Commercial and promotional campaigns Analytics
- Evaluate the effectiveness of commercial activations and promotional actions leveraging web analytics and data analytics skills and tools
- Provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations to enhance future initiatives
- Work closely with finance teams to evaluate the financial impact and profitability of promotional activities
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor the effectiveness of the activations and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Requirements for the role
- Hands-on experience in web analytics, data analytics role or digital role
- Experience with data visualization (Looker, Tableau)
- Basic knowledge of SQL and Data Manipulation
- Expertise in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Amplitude Analytics) and/or tag management systems (e.g. Google Tag Manager) would be a plus
- General understanding of e-commerce business principles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for operational stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proactive approach and critical thinking
- Eagerness to learn new skills and stay updated with industry trends and best practices
