Job Description:
The mission of this position is to create scalable and secure cloud data solutions that support business objectives and drive data-driven decision-making. This position will leverage cloud technologies to optimize data infrastructure and processes, ensuring high availability and reliability based on AWS cloud ecosystem & tool set.
Key Accountabilities:
AWS Account Management
- Setup and Configuration: Establish and configure AWS accounts, ensuring proper billing, security, and compliance settings.
- User Management: Create and manage AWS IAM users, groups, and roles, assigning appropriate access levels and permissions.
- Access Control: Implement and manage IAM policies to ensure secure access to AWS resources, regularly reviewing and updating permissions.
AWS Security
- Security Best Practices: Implement encryption, network security, and identity management to protect data.
- Compliance Management: Ensure AWS infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Regular Audits: Conduct regular security audits and assessments to maintain compliance and identify potential vulnerabilities.
AWS Operation and Monitoring
- Resource Provisioning: Manage AWS resources like EC2, S3, RDS, and VPCs for optimal performance.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Use tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail to monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure, tracking performance, security, and compliance.
- High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Understand strategies to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
Basic Database Management
- Database Setup and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain database systems.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance for scalability and security.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement backup and recovery procedures to protect data.
- Security Management: Ensure databases are secure with access controls and encryption.
ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
- ETL Pipeline Development: Create and maintain ETL pipelines to efficiently extract data from various sources, transform it according to business needs, and load it into cloud data warehouses or other storage systems with focus on ingest to AWS ecosystem.
- Data Quality Management: Define guidelines and automate checks for data quality to ensure high accuracy of stored data.
Group collaboration
- Work with Operating companies and instruct that how Allwyn’s AWS ecosystems is designed, what rules and principles should be followed.
- Effectively audit their work and deliveries to ensure proper security and data handling.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- MSc in relevant topic
- Typically, 3-5 years of relevant experience AWS ecosystem with focus on cloud infrastructure management & database operation (Consultancy, Telecommunication, Retail, Gaming, Banking)
- Proven hands one experience with AWS environment, tools, security and configuration. AWS DevOps certificate preferred.
- Proven experience in cloud database operation and maintenance.
- Experience in “as-code” practice.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure management.
- Experience in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines and working with API,
- Experience in creating SQL queries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
