About the role:
We're currently seeking an IT admin junior to join our team in Prague (with offices also in Brno and Bratislava). If you're enthusiastic about new technologies and seeking an opportunity to learn new skills from experienced colleagues in a flexible company, you are at the right place.
What will be your job
(experienced and helpful colleagues will help you with everything)
- Managing and maintaining our on-premise services (dozens of virtual servers on our own hardware)
- Ensuring smooth operation and basic hardware diagnostics
- Preparing computers and laptops for new colleagues, software installation and configuration
- Managing hardware and software releases
- Working with the team to implement and manage cloud services
- Supporting users in resolving technical issues
What we expect from you:
- Hardware orientation (diagnostics and repair)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop your skills
Nice to have (an advantage):
- Basic knowledge of server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Awareness of cloud services (Azure, AWS or other)
- Experience with virtualization (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V)
- Knowledge of LANs and their basic configuration
